The Pregnancy Path

One Spring Day back in 2000, Beloved and I went to a park about two hours away.

The park flowers were in full bloom and so we were delighted to spend several hours just walking the pathways and trails. Although, I like walking trails that curve through the trees and flowers, I typically am over come with great anticipation! I can't wait to find out what is just around the bend!

Are you like that?

For example: Does it drive you crazy when you see a railroad track that goes around a curve and you can't see where those train tracks are going? Does a beautiful driveway with a gorgeous entrance (that typically says "Private Drive") peak your curiosity that you are tempted to drive down that driveway just to see what is hidden from view?

This particular day, just around the corner, was worth the anticipation,.there was a small little cottage that I thought was breath taking!

I look back on these two pictures with fondness!

They remind me of how God blesses us with things that are miraculous! Some times we wonder if we are stepping around the corner to find just some more trees (the same ole') and then sometimes we find ourselves stepping around the corner and finding that God has placed someone or something specific (for just that particular time) that will Bless Us!!!

Right now, I am anticipating the arrival of a new little one! He will be my third child.

The wait and anticipation of just around the corner is about to come to an end! And I am wondering what miraculous thing God is doing in our lives by giving us this new little guy!

As I step the last few steps to go around the bend, my questions are still of the curious type, " How will this little guy change the dynamics of our little family?
What type of little personality will he have?
What talents will he have?
And in what capacity will he serve the Lord?

I have to confess though, not all my questions are so "cozy".
I also wonder, will he like to sleep? (or will he be like my other two and be solar powered!)

But, more importantly, I just pray that God protects him and I.

With my Last pregnancy, # 2 pregnancy, I got Class 1 HELLP SYNDROME and almost died.

Yes! I was very sick for many months afterwards too. It took me six months just to be able to walk to the mailbox and back to the house.

The Drs have stressed that they do not want me to have any more Children.
But, God didn't allow us to feel that our Family was complete.
