Our Memorial tradition is to release balloons in honor of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. With the balloon we also attach a note. This time we had the above scripture "in honor of those who paid a price" and listed many friends. We especially took time to write, "In the memory of our special friends, the crew of 146, who died in Afghanistan on June 2005."
Several minutes later it was just a speck.
