A pony is a childhood dream, a horse is an adulthood treasure. ~ Rebecca Carrol
Wow, the years have flown by! The Little Lady has been riding horses for almost 2 1/2 years. She started at the age of 4. She asked for a horse at age 2 though. I thought it was just a passing statement but then she kept talking about it. Now, we have a Horse lover in the family. She carries a little pocket Horse guide in her purse! And, her book collection is mostly Horses.
Since, the other kiddos go to the Barn too, their interest has also been peaked. The Little Man got on for his first ride when he turned 4 too! With in a week he was on a trail ride with his Sister.
It seems that Sister's enthusiasm has spread to the others. I personally think that she is hoping that she might have some help at doing the dirty work some day!
The Little Gentleman is looking on with longing...
Well, especially since the John Deere tractor wasn't available for him to climb all over.
We noticed at the barn today that the Little Miss was so excited to see the horses! She was all giggles and she kicked her feet at a very rapid pace. We have been calling it her "Happy Dance". Their trainer said, "I suppose either I am going to have to get more docil ponies or Daddy is going to have to find a Horse!"
