A West Coast Ship Wreck

The Peter Iredale was a four-masted steel barque sailing vessel that ran ashore October 25, 1906, on the Oregon coast en route to the Columbia River. It was abandoned on Clatsop Spit near Fort Stevens in Warrenton about four miles (6 km) south of the Columbia River channel. Wreckage is still visible, making it a popular tourist attraction as one of the most accessible shipwrecks of the Graveyard of the Pacific. ~ Fort Stevens Facts

Fort Steven State Park, Oregon

Monday Morning, we headed to the beach again but this time at Fort Stevens.
In some areas of the West Coast you can drive on the beach.

So, we rolled down the windows and did just that!

After awhile, we parked on the beach, we rolled up our pants, took off our shoes and played in the water!

We also hiked down toward one section of a Shipwreck.

This lead some very adventurous boys to do some climbing.

She spent time picking up some shells.

Walking along side the waves just enough to get your feet wet is my favorite thing to do!

Beloved hiked the top and called us over when he found a crab!
