A Peaceful Drive

"Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you peace at all times and in all ways [under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes]. The Lord [be] with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16

A peaceful drive in the country is always on the top of my list when things get a little hectic. And, one of my quite places to drive is on the roads near the military "Compound" where Beloved works.

This is the "Compound." It is surrounded by gates. And, those gates are surround by more gates. And near the gates are some guards which the Little Ones love to say, "Have a bless day" to. And, although, the "Compound" is all tightly locked up to outsiders, it is nestled among some of the prettiest Amish Scenery.

.... So with a mug of Apple Cider in hand, the Children and I drove around to watch the cold weather clouds roll in.

(The Little Amish School)

It was a relaxing drive. However, my peaceful drive around this area makes me chuckle. You can be in the middle of this Amish Community and still be "Buzzed" by several planes and helicopters. (Due to them landing on the compound flight line.) Unlike the cows who never glance up, the Little Ones always have their eyes to the sky. So, I know that my peaceful drive will always be intrupted by delightful excitement due to those mechanical birds.
