Indoor Tenting

“It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.” ~ Dave Barry

We created an indoor tent play time in the garage.

No tenting experience could be with out stars. So, I drew some constellations on the styrofoam cups and poked holes for where the stars should be.

Then with flash lights in hand everyone put stars on the garage ceiling!

It worked for now but they are itching to go camping and I am not sure how long I can hold them off! We just might have to figure out away to pack ourselves into my Parents 5th Wheel. They are about to set out on their RV American Trip for 5 months.

  1. Our girls have wanted to go camping for a long time. Maybe this summer it will happen. Great idea about using the cups. Enjoy your day and God bless.

  2. Enjoyed, and we have the same tent! ;~)
I grew up camping in tents, BUT my love thinks camping is in the camper ONLY...so the kids have never REALY gone camping! So, I take out the tent and put it up in the living-room and they camp out there, they happy with that...for now. :~) YES, the cups were neat!!!
