Beloved's 43rd

"The older the Fiddler, the sweeter the tune." - Paul IV

Beloved arrived in time to celebrate his Birthday.

Dinner: Apple Roast, Mashed potatoes, Green Beans, Rolls, and Sweet Tea.

~ Chocolate Cake too.

He also spent a good bit of time reading his Birthday Book and telling me all about the fun places he is going to fly me into to get a hamburger!

I listened.

All the while wondering if he truly thinks I am actually crazy enough to get in a putt around plane.

  2. Nice! I am glad that your hubby is home, I am sure you are glad to have him there, too!

Fun book! I am sure if we lived in the States Dan would want one of those! When he was studying at Moody he surprised me on the 4th of July and flew me to one of those restaurants - it was not too far away at an airport in North Carolina. It was a tiny little place but the hamburger WAS good! :-) And don't worry, the putt-around planes aren't THAT scary! Just think - you sit close enough to snuggle with the pilot! :-)

  6. Ha, Mrs.T
I just figured out that Beloved actually reads the comments because he just figured out who the "ME" was that called him "old" man! (giggle) Tell Mr. T Happy Birthday from us!

Sarah. Your statment, "the putt-around planes aren't THAT scary" makes me laugh. Not buying it! But, you might have sold me on the snuggle part. We won't let Beloved know that quite yet.

Everyone, He says thanks for the Birthday wishes too.

  8. Love the quote at the top, Carmen. Happy Birthday! I've been on one of those planes ONCE and I was terrified - ha ha. I can cross it off my list of things to do, though.

  10. Sarah, Tell Dan "Congrats on his solo flight in the Caravan." And, yeah for Water buckets! I bet the girls adored the wet tradition! I can't get the comments to work on your word press today but when I can I will leave a few comments.

YOu also Mrs. Donna. I will try again a little later.
