Beloved and the Little Gentleman picked up a few odds and ends at the grocery store. They came home with these beautiful flowers. When they got home the Little Gentleman ran in toward me with a huge smile and proudly threw them at me! They landed some what half way on the counter. Immediately when the girls saw them they wanted to pick the roses out so they could put them in their hair. The Little Lady said, "Oh! It is always so nice of Dad when he brings you home some flowers." The Little Man said "It was nice of him."
He is romantic so I just smiled
...but it never hurts to write "flowers" on the grocery store list.

ReplyDeleteMy husband & I have laughed all evening about grocery store flowers. I was reading your blog earlier when we decided to go for our evening walk. I told my hubby about the flowers and the list and he has picked on me all evening about not thinking about putting flowers on my lists. Your post brightened up our evening.
