Hummingbird Exhibit

Hummingbird is a small bird of the Trochilidae family. The rapid beating of the hummingbirds wings (60 to 80 beats per second) makes the distinctive humming sound from which they get their name. - Hummingbird facts

The Little Ones were able to enjoy learning a little about Hummingbirds in a fun way out at the Wild Life area of Land Between the Lakes Trace.

How many McD's Meals?

There were probably about 50 Hummingbirds busy eating out at the garden.
