I keep my end tables full of needlework and quilting so I don't have to dust them. ~Author Unknown
I taught her all I knew. Yes, it isn't much!
The chain stitch and the double crochet is about it.
The Little Lady spends hours making chains and double crocheting.
Then she takes it all out and starts again.
I caught this picture before she pulled it all out.
We need a little help and a project, don't you think?
She made a bookmark the next day!
Carmen, I bet she could make that bag I just finished with just a little more practice!
ReplyDeleteThis is something I always wanted to try to do with my girls, but I haven't learned myself yet. Can't wait to see what you all make :-)
ReplyDeleteI just read your post to me and I just yesterday booked our vacation to Walt Disney World in Florida! Which one are you going to? What dates? Small world huh? LOL It's a surprise our girls have no idea!
Blessings,
Jill
So great! My little girls are learning some needle crafts too!
ReplyDeleteI can crochet and Anna (my oldest daughter) can knit. We need to teach each other! So fun.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I just taught my daughter how to get started crocheting but I don't know what to do after those first couple rows! I guess she'll be pulling hers out too. I would love to learn how to knit but I know I have too many other hobbies.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh what a exciting time! I loved it when I learned how to stitch and I have been learning new things ever sense!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and ((HUGS))

Good on the little lady...great colours! My kids love to finger knit. :)
ReplyDeleteShe would love to visit the blog listed on my sidebar "Attic24". She has wonderful crochet projects. You may want to pre-read before the little one reads it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mrs. Louellen.
ReplyDeleteAttic24 is a very colorful site. Wow!

Mrs. Lisa, Your bag is beautiful. I will see if she is interested. It would require me to learn too! ;)
