Stew Beef
Fill a skillet with oil enough to cover the bottom. Get the skillet very hot. In another bowl, put flour and salt and pepper (3 T approx--or salt and pepper to taste) Place Stew Beef in the bowl and cover the beef with the ingredients. Then put the Stew Beef in the skillet and brown. In a Dutch oven or Crock Pot, put the browned Stew Beef in. Then pour water over the Shew Beef just enough to cover. Set tempature to low. In a the skillet where the dripping are from the Stew Beef add 2 or3 heaping spoon full of flour (Tablespoons). If you need more oil add this as well. Stir flour in the oil until you have a brown rue. Place the brown rue in the Dutch oven or in the Crock pot over the water and Stew Beef. Cover the Dutch Oven or Crock Pot with a lid. Cook until tender. In the Dutch Oven this will be for 3 hours or more. In a Crock Pot it can cook all day!
Serve Stew Beef over rice.
