Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington Kentucky

Beloved has a business trip in Lexington, Kentucky.

So, we drove into town, got settled and then headed over to

the Kentucky Horse Park to see the Black Stallion show.

The Kiddos were so surprised!

We had front row seats - where mud got thrown on you as they raced by.

They loved every minute of it!

After the show, each of them went back to the hotel with a new horse book.

  1. I bet your oldest daughter is thrilled about a horse book! Doesn't she love that stuff?

As far as boys go, they are still a mystery to me! The whole of my knowledge about them is this:
    1) They are destructive - buy solid furniture
    2) They think gross things are hilarious, especially p-o-o-p (lol)
    3) They can be surprisingly sweet when you least expect it!

  2. I still read the Black Stallion series, sometimes even with the kiddos! I remember having the same copy of TBS(the red one). The Black Stallion and the Girl was my absolute favorite!
