Schooling In Idaho

Your life experience is just as important as studying.
~ Jane Badler

Our rental vehicle is a brand new 2010 Yukon XL. It is fully loaded and I couldn’t help but gasp when I opened the door and that new car smell hit my nose! Um! What were they thinking? When we picked it up at the Seattle airport it only had 28 miles on it. Just in the last few days, we have already put well over 600 miles on it! Yes! And we still have 3 ½ weeks still to go! The car is very comfortable and it has made the drive from Seattle to Boise extremely enjoyable. Although, I must confess that some of the enjoyment simply comes from seeing the gorgeous scenery and the quaint non-cookie cutter towns! Unfortunately, today, I had to have my face to the computer screen due to meeting a deadline on a Graduate Paper and doing some business through a realtor. But, I made sure to glance up in all the spots that made everyone “gasp” with delight!

We arrived at our Hotel and after receiving the keys we headed to one of those “Mom and Pop Family Owned” restaurants. This time we found an Italian Pizza Place. The decor was fun, nothing fancy but clean. The cheese bread was oh so yummy. With our bellies full, the rest of the day was spent getting settled into the hotel. Beloved had his Graduate Class today so he had to spend 4 hours on the computer listening to a lecture. The rest of us went swimming in the hotel pool and the Little Ones spent time doing “School” in the Hotel as well.

It was one of those days where you store up energy to see what we will find to do tomorrow.
