We ordered a camper over 2 months ago while we were in Lexington for a business trip. The camper was ready so we decided to drive to Kentucky to pick it up and drag it to the nearest camp site to check it all out before we drove it all the way back home! The nearest campsite was Kentucky Horse Park!
Everyone is so excited!
The camper is so big compared to our little ole pop-up that we used to have way back when! We really like it but "WOW" is it going to be interesting when we take it on the road! We use to only take up a few parking spots but this takes up a whole bus lane.
We spent the day getting settled.
(lunch, a walk, a little drive, and dinner!)
The two Littlest Ones also spent time claiming their favorite spots. The Little Gentleman always likes to hang out of the camper doors in the past! So, I was not surprised to see him poking his head out this afternoon.
The Little Miss really wants to check out the bunk beds in the back!
The evening was full of chasing fireflies and roasting marshmallows.
.... And a little relaxation!
I believe Beloved is a very happy man!
Camping gives you just a little bit of time to leave your cares at home.
