All In The Aim

Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate. Ps 127:3-5

Every time I see someone with a bow and arrow it reminds me of this scripture! It is a great reminder to me of the importance that as Warriors of Christ, we are to HOURLY aim our arrows (Children) toward Godly pursuits. The goal should always be to direct that arrow (Child) toward the mark --- God's Glory!

We spent several hours getting dirty and practicing our arrow skills. Everyone knows that practice makes perfect. But, for this "Maid Marian" she hit the target her very first time!

I got 4 out of 4 my first time too! The untold secret though is that I was aiming for the upper right bulls eye and not the lower left!
