Chihuly Glass

"Cheekwood is a 55 acre botanical garden and art museum located on the historic Cheek estate. Cheekwood exist to celebrate and preserve its landscapes, buildings, art and botanical collections and, through these unique means, provide an inspiring place for visitors to explore their connections with art, nature and the environment." ~ Cheekwood Botanical Gardens in Nashville

Nothing can be finer than to head to Tennessee to visit with a girly-friend and enjoy a beautiful day at the Botanical Gardens. We spent plenty of time poking around the Chihuly glass that they had on display and taking a quick glance into the art museum at the Mansion.

I can't imagine what it is like to see the glass lit up at night.

  2. I visited Cheekwood with my children right before they began installing the Chihuly pieces. I begged my husband to take me at night to see them lit up and that never happened. It never dawned on me to visit with a friend! Love your pictures, hopefully I WILL make it before it's gone. :)
