A woman's mind is as complex as the contents of her handbag; even when you get to the bottom of it, there is ALWAYS something at the bottom to surprise you! ~ Connelly
The Little Lady did another leather purse. This is called the "Emily Handbag" pattern. It is opened at the top instead of having a flap across the top. The Little Lady stamped it and stained the leather on both sides.
The little details...
Lacing the purse is hard for her but then it is hard for me too. So, she gets help with it. ;) Stamping and Staining is no more than pounding with a hammer and painting with stain -- very fun!! She can do tht by herself.
She likes to alternate between big girl stamping and just little girl coloring/tracing on leather for small projects.
This was last weeks project actually. They have been working on cards this week.
Please tell her she did a wonderful job. It is very exciting for me to see young ones interested in leatherwork. Hubby made a new collar yesterday for our young pup out of some scrap leather he had. We let the girls stamp his name on it. It was a lot of fun getting out the old tools and stuff. Enjoy your day and God bless.
Looks wonderful!!
