Most people who succeed in the face of seemingly impossible conditions are people who simply don't know how to quit. ~ Schuller
I bought it for $2 this past fall. I thought it would look cute in the Little Lady's room for her smaller horses. I was thinking a little bit of work and a coat of paint. Easy Breezy.
Beloved looked at it. And, that was when my idea went up in smoke and I had to scrap!
1st Week (1 day) -- paint remover and scraping.
2nd Week (2nd and 3rd day) --- More paint remover --- still scraping!
Beloved said, "Carmen, the wood needs to dry out!" So, it sat for a few days.
I checked in and Beloved said, "I think it will be fine. Just keep at it."
3rd Week- scraping with a little sanding.
Beloved said, "I would have toss this a long time ago. But, I know it is your project."
Hmmm! Do you think he is giving me a lesson in not buying $2 garage sale projects?
I am still scraping! (I will edit this post and post the final project eventually!)
