"My job is to question, to prod and provoke them to think... not to give them the answer ... but to have them come up with a conclussion." - Closing the Gap:Schools that Work
Apparently, this is the thing to do with left over crayons in blog land!
Add a little "Scientific Method" questioning and you have a little Kitchen Science activity.
You also have the bonus of just having big crayons for the Littlest One.
What fun! What are the containers made from to handle the heat?
ReplyDeleteOn another subject, I tried to report in for my "organized kitchen/dining room", but couldn't see where to do it. :)
A muffin pan at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or so. (The oranage is a bar pan)
ReplyDeleteGive me a bit. I don't have it up yet. I am trying to catch up from the week.
My goodness, I have missed a few science projcets, haven't I? *smile* So glad you all are enjoying your projects about the solar system and valcanos. It's also a lovely bag with the helicopter on it! *smile* I like hte linconlin log land as well. *smile* Sorry, but I completely missed the night stand one, and will have to catch it another time...*smile* Have a lovely day. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! You can also do something similar to this with small pieces of leftover soap. Enjoy your day and God bless.
ReplyDeleteHi Carmen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment.
I have seen this all over blog land too, but have yet to do it myself.
Looks like fun!
Have a happy day!
