I try to keep a lid on my favorite recipes. But, I thought I would share this one. I have been able to keep it secret up until this year. I received it from my Aunt Brenda about 13 years ago. I don't think she gives it out either!
It is a family favorite so much so that I didn't get to take a picture of it looking all "yummy"!
1 carrot, Shredded
2 1/2 cups cabbage, shredded
(If you do not want to do the above you can go get 1 bag of the pre-packaged cabbage salad in your salad section.)
Salad Dressing: 1 T vinegar (white)
1/2 cup salad dressing (DO NOT USE MAYO. IT must be the Mayo Substitute!)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
Shred the Carrot and Cabbage.
Add dressing ingredient and mix well. Do not be worried that it is not juicy looking at this point. Just put it in the Refrigerator. Stir it after it is chilled. It will then be the correct juicy consistency.
You can double this recipe for guest.
Ok. Looks good. I love other people's recipes. I have a coleslaw one that is awesome, the ramen noodle vinaigrette one. Have you heard of it? Soooo good.
