Narration with a Space Craft

As knowledge is not assimilated until it is reproduced, children should 'tell back' after a single reading or hearing: or should write on some part of what they have read.   ~Charlotte Mason (Vol. 6, Ch 10, p. 155)

The Little Man read "On the Moon" today. It is an Usborn book that I picked up at the local bookstore. The book has nice pictures with just some simple text. I wanted to add something different not because it was going to teach him some thing that wouldn't be covered while we are studying Astronomy but I have hope that he will eventually enjoy books more.

He did like the book.  But, he liked it better when he used the book along with the  space shuttle and astronauts to narrate the book back to me.
