I don't care where you do it, just get it done!

A man's penmanship is an unfailing index of his character, moral and mental, and a criterion by which to judge his peculiarities of taste and sentiments. - Phillip Standhope

.... and he is almost finished with his penmanship book for this year!

  2. Cute pic! Can you imagine our world without handwriting? Seems the schools are pushing cursive out and computers on the rise instead of actually writing. Hmmm I like hand written notes don't you? So much more personal :-)

  3. My youngest daughter does her copywork sitting on her knees, leaning over the table, with her feet propped up on the chairback behind her...if she can do it neatly in THAT position, she ought to have beautiful handwriting in the long run...right? Right?!? :)

  4. Lol I am chuckling at your quote as my penmanship has sadly deteriorated as I've gotten busier and older :)

  6. I love your quote. I talk frequently about the quality of my children's penmanship to them and how it represents who they are.

I was thinking the other day, how the news has talked about schools doing away with Cursive because of the use of computers; which then lead me to think about how keyboards are going to be obsolete to a certain extent for learning to type as the computer is getting smaller and smaller and iPad's and phones the keyboard is not ergonomically set up to learn to type properly, it has become a finger-pecking with thumbs instead of using 10 fingers and having memorized where the keys are.
