Postal Eggs

"A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked."  - Bernard Meltzer

Fresh! Free Ranged Organic Chicken Eggs! Delivered by the Postal Service!
I am not joking. There are about 50 of them! My friend, Katie, sent them to me along with all sorts of fun goodies - such as dehydrated and fresh veggies, homemade bread, herbal teas, and powdered vitamins!

  1. Wow, I never knew you could mail eggs. Maybe I'll mail some to Hubby's mom. She is always saying she would to have fresh eggs. Enjoy your day and God bless.

  7. They are fresh chicken eggs. If you don't wash them then they can store for weeks in just a bowl on your counter. Once washed you have to refrigerate them.

They packaged them in egg crates and put them in a trash bag in a box with the words "This side up only" and "FRAGIL". I only had 3 that were slightly cracked. ;)
