Horse Hair Birds Nest

"A box without hinges, key, or lid, yet gold treasure inside is hid."
  Tolkien

No point in trying to get him to pose for the camera!
He always does things that make the photographer's skill look poor!
He cracks me up!

Well, let's get to the real reason we are taking this photo!

He found a birds nest made entirely out of horse hair during horseback riding lessons last week.
So, neat! This is a "boy treasure" keeper!

  2. Hey There. Glad you are back. Read your post when it alerted me on my phone today. I'll come over in awhile.

I suppose I should comment on my pregnancy, huh? I could use lots of prayer. I'll do a quick post in the next few days. Hugs.

  3. An egg! Love Tolkien :)

My girls tried to collect enough horse hair to stuff a pillow...Daddy put a stop to that when the cats scattered the horse hair collection ALL over the garage!

If only they could have found a cool trophy like "yours"...definitely a keeper!

And WHAT is it with boys and cameras, anyway?!?

Looking forward to the next pregnancy update...and still praying! :)

LOVE this! I agree - such a treasure - put it on a saucer under a glass dome with a feather craft bird and this photo! How are you feeling? Praying and praying...
