Finding a Lap

If a dog jumps into your lap, it is because he is found of you; but if a cat does the same thing, it is because your lap is warmer. - Alfred Whitehead

Fancy isn't a lap cat yet. It is obvious that she was bullied by her sister and didn't get as much attention. However, she sure is learning fast when it is a great time to get some quiet TLC from Beloved.  I give her about 6 more months and she will be cozying up into all the laps in this house once she figures out that there are plenty of laps to go around for every cat in the house.

  1. Awww... Cute pic. That is funny, my husband really enjoys our pets too. My dad had a cat named Charles and he would enjoy my dad and the computer too.

I'm glad Beloved likes cats, they are neat little creatures, the cats were his before you married right? That is great.

Did you hear Rush Limbaugh talking about his sweet cat, Punkin? Poor Rush had to put his sweet Punkin to sleep last week, poor Rush, he was clearly upset. He spent a small portion before closing his program last Friday talking about Punkin. What a great man, a man who loves animals like that. That spells good character in my book. : )

I hope you and your sweet family are doing well!

  3. I hope you realize that you burst my bubble - Dolly is not a lap cat, so when comes into my lap it's a big treat for me. (sigh)
