For Beloved's birthday weekend we spent the weekend going to a museum, doing a few fun errands and also going to a DRIVE- IN movie theater. The kiddos love it! I love it. We had a good time.
We piled everyone in the back of the car with lots of pillow and blankets. We brought a bag of candy (which we took from Beloved's lunch stash) and Beloved went to the Drive- IN movie theater's concession stand for drinks and pop-corn.
This must be one of the last Drive-In movie theaters around. I am glad they got to experience it.
That looks like fun, I've never been to one. Humm, but looks like lil one was having a melt down. Lol

ReplyDeleteHello. I have popped in here several times and have tried to comment a time or two having issues if I'm not logged in. My last comment is awaiting moderation which means it went through so I thought I would pop down here too. *big smile* I remember going to the drive-in theator in Lebanon, Oregon before the WalMart went in. I think my favorite part was when the group I went with got a spot in the front row, we kids put out a blanket on the grass in front of the car, chatted - as we girls often did - and then watched for shooting stars before the movie started. It was so much fun! When I was a little girl momma took my sister and me with some of our second cousins to see ET and I remember eating NeccoWafters there. They were nasty little things but we ate them because they were a movie treat. *big smile* Oh the joy of memories. *big smile* Thanks for sharing. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know. I am not sure why people are having trouble commenting. I have friends that read every day and they can't do it either. I have it where people can do anonymous comments but for some reason it isn't working. boohoo!
DeleteI will hope into your little web home soon.
