Hiking A Very Damp Rainforest

The Hoh Rain Forest is located on the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington state, USA. It is one of the few temperate rain forests in the U.S., and also one of the largest. It gets about 12 to 14 feet of rain a year. ~ONF facts

Olympic National Park in Washington State

Yesterday, we headed over to another part of the Olympic National Park.

We arrived hungry!
So, the first order of business was to feed the clan.
We had a picnic lunch on a mossy picnic table in a damp Rainforest!

Yes, Rainforest!!!

                                                             Ferns were everywhere.

Trees were covered with Moss, Mushrooms and Woodpecker holes.

Occasionally, the trees had a few Children on them!

Beloved wanted to take a mini hike but some how we ended up doing a long loop.

We were all okay with our hike though. Our trail was beautiful.

It took us through the Rainforest and along side glacier river water.

Our walk was interrupted with a couple of business calls.

It is normal! It allowed us to have a little rest.

Along our walk we met up with many people.

This trail was highly traveled.

I found it interesting to see what other people thought was worth of taking a picture!

Our day ended with seeing more of God's beautiful handiwork!

It was another fun family hike.
