The Little Man 1st Lesson

Life is like a piano... what you get out of it depends on how you play it. ~ UnknownWe just can't find a Piano teacher in our area that I don't have to travel an hour or more to go see. It seems our biggest issue is finding someone who won't charge me for the months that we are on the road just to keep a spot open for the Children. So, at the suggestion of a friend whose Children play beautifully and all learned by Madonna Woods CD Piano Course for Christians, we are taking her advice.

  1. So glad you are making sure your kids have this experience!! Do you play the piano? I WISH I did. Aw well.

  2. Our girls did the Madonna Woods course! : ) That is wonderful! We used it until we found a precious, precious older woman in the nearest tiny town who turned out to be my friend & confidant'. I miss her so much! I think with your tenacity the course will be a peaceful Godsend. Those kind of things are far better than driving far away, especially since you already have a friend that has trodden the same path with such good results!

    Have a sweet day Carmen!

  3. Thanks. I am a music lover, well, I would like to think so. I have been playing musical instruments since I was "old enough" to join band in school. Percussion, adding also sax in middle school, and piano in my earily 20's. So I know how to read and both the bass and trebble cleffs but would love a little more guidance when it comes to teaching our two how to read and play their own. *smile* They play percussion already, some shakers and damberines, but I have a keyboard and would love to teach them to play. Thanks so much for the name drop here I hope to talk it over with my beloved husband in hopes of guiding our path a bit more in the music department. *smile* Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!

  4. Beautiful! My girls have taken piano for years. They are blessed to have a wonderful teacher. I pray your son enjoys his lessons and that God will bless him with the ability to play. Personally, I can't play the radio without help but the girls do well. Enjoy your day and God bless.

  5. How wonderful! I will tuck that course name away in my notes. This summe we plan on shipping my Grandfather's piano to our house. I had piano as a young girl, and ended up being the only other person in our family (besides Grandpa) who learned to play. Our sweet Anna has told us of her desire to learn. We're very excited!
