Another Kitchen Experiment had the Little Ones making a volcano for school. (flour, salt and water) I think they watched the volcano "explode" at least 10 times. It actually oozed more than just exploded -- baking soda, vinegar, dish washing detergent and a little red food dye.

Then, we did an experiment about how lava flows and turns into a hard substance. -- Anticlimactic after the oozing volcano lava! -- Butter and Flour.

My Dad told Beloved this is the reason why my food bill is so high! ;)
