Squeezing More Time In

How do you spell love to your children? T.I.M.E. -- Unknown

We left the beach area and traveled in to the center of Florida for a little Family Fun.

As we left the beach business conference, Beloved had arranged for us to stay in a condo for a couple of days. The night that we arrived, Beloved took us to a Pirate Dinner Show. The boys have been dressing up as Pirates and going around rescuing the ladies with these light up swords that Beloved bought them. When he bought them I gave him a look of questioning his action. The one that silently says, "You are kidding right?" He said out loud, "A lapse into insanity."  We laughed.

The next day, we spent time taking a Ferry Ride to a Park.

The Children rode a few rides. And, then we went to the Hoop- Dee Doo Dinner Show. Afterwards, we set on the beach and watched a boat parade and a fireworks display.

Beloved always works even when he is on leave. He is firmly connected to his work email and phone so things don't pile up on him. He manages it all very well. He does it in a way in which I don't even really notice anymore. But, as usual, we should know to make sure we have everything with us if he gets called to go somewhere else.  He received a call saying, "We need you to go to North Carolina".

So, we finished out our day hanging around the pool and doing a little "dress up" shopping for the Children.  For dinner,  Beloved took me to Joe's Crab Shack. It was the first time we were able to  introduced the Children to cracking crab legs. They were so funny particularly since the Little Man had gotten snagged by a crab at the Beach while running in the Ocean. He was a little concerned and apprehensive at first but then he didn't feel bad for the crab at all, for I told the Little Man, "Eat or be eaten!"

Goodbye Florida

Glad it works out to have your sweetie keep up w/ work! I really appreciate my husband's diligence in that area too! We feel really blessed by his ability to stay on top of work and be with us at the same time!

  2. Glad to see you had such a good time in Fl. We had a good time for our Anniversary in Pigeon Forge and were even able to stay an extra day thanks to husbands flexible schedule. We made it back home and only had two flat tires this trip!!!

I'll try and get some new posts up this evening.
