Studying Near the Beach

When you want to teach children to think, you begin by treating them seriously when they are little, giving them responsibilities, talking to them candidly, providing privacy and solitude for them, and making them readers and thinkers of significant thoughts from the beginning. That's if you want to teach them to think." ~ B. Russell

We really enjoy going on in-country business trips with Beloved. Personally, I can handle these conferences that are on the beach. Unfortunately, he tends to always be needed during these beach conferences some where in the middle of a snow blizzard.  So, Melbourne was a real treat! Our stay wasn't long enough I can assure you.

No matter where we are though, I am sure the Children would rather I forget the book work and leave it all at home! This time while the Little Gentleman worked in his "keep him busy" books, the Little Lady and the Little Man got to see what I have in store for them for the summer ~ Critical Thinking books from the http://www.criticalthinking.com/index.jsp

Yes, it has everything to do with the fact that I spent this entire semester writing a large graduate level research paper on Critical Thinking.  ~ See! I was even doing school work as a due date was drawing near.  I didn't quite squeeze out 30 pages but I still made a 96 on the paper and a 98 in the class.
