Another Garage Sale Story

“More people should learn to tell their dollars where to go instead of asking them where they went.” ~ Roger Babson

"How much for the scooter?" I asked.
The Lady was hot and sweaty and just ready to go inside but it appeared she was going to stick it out for awhile longer with her garage sale!
She said, "A dollar."
Having no idea how much scooters cost,  I paused over buying the thing for $1.00.
My thoughts?  "I hope this $1.00 gives a good bit of fun and doesn't give me a hospital bill."

Later on, I snapped a picture of the Razor Scooter and sent it to my Sister.
She text me back and wrote, "I bought one this past Christmas for $70."

My heart leaped! I adore my little sister! She always makes me feel good!
So, I will keep it a secret that I bought another one for $2.00 too.
