The Little Lady's Top Quilt Square

"A patched with quilting seldom unravels" - Unknown

The Little Lady is working on her quilt top square for the National Quilt Museum's Children competition. You can read about the post I did on it here.

This project has become a real family affair! We had to ask my Parents for some help on the project.  The Little Lady wanted a horse on her quilt top so Gigi spent a couple of days researching how to cut out a fabric horse using her cricket machine.

Once the theme was decided upon, a horse on a beach, Papa and Gigi were asked to help with some embellishment ideas too.

I think she is  about to be finished with this first part of the sewing. So,  hopefully she will be able to go to the next step which is using embroidery floss!

  1. Love it! I'm building up a little extra stash money to get Anna her own sewing machine for her 10th birthday in the spring. I can't wait to watch her work.
