Sausage and Cheese Crescent squares

A Sunday well spent brings a week of content. - Sunday Quotes

It is unanimous! My little family thinks this is the item that is perfect for Sunday mornings. They all thought is was a quick but tasty breakfast. I can't help but smile though, from what I understand most of my friends do cinnamon rolls just before Church. I am sure the Little Ones would be all for that too but I haven't offered it!

  1. Carmen, I posted the cake recipe for you. And,I'm thinking you missed my cake disaster post, so here's the link http://searchingforabalance.blogspot.com/2011/11/cake-foolishness-or-how-distracted-can.html
Read it and laugh (or weep) - it's pitiful, and I'm sure you've never made such a mess of things!

I like your quote today - I've never heard that one.

  3. This looks delicious! My crew would LOVE it, too, I think! Of course, anything that's not oatmeal has a good chance of success here. (They don't HATE oatmeal, they just eat it most every day of their lives!)

  5. Thanks for the comment. Yes, those little gals are my nieces. They are gluten free and then my dau. started too, to see if it would help some physical ailments she has.
I can get alot of the flours mentioned in the book, sorghum, sweet rice, potato, and the different starches at a little mennonite store about 12 miles from here. Other wise we drive to Indy. Has you daughter seen the Brookshire girls' coloring book? It is very nice.
I really enjoy visiting your blog.

  6. I make mini egg muffins and freeze them. Sunday morning we can pop a couple in the microwave before mass. At our church there is donuts and coffee after, every Sunday - so the kids get their taste of sugar AFTER! Ha. btw - how are you feeling?? :)
