"God has given all of us, to one degree or another, abilities in art that should be nurtured." - Stebbing
I signed up the older 3 Kiddos for art class.
So, last week, they spent 3 days at the "How Great Thou Art" seminars for homeschoolers. The creator of the "How Great Thou Art" curriculum is Mr. Stebbing and he gave the classes.
Beloved sat with the Kiddos during their lessons.
His mission was to simply cheer them on and supervise the boys.
Affirmation Exhaustion apparently!
He said, "This is to hard! I would rather go to work."
He made it through the fast paced seminars and my kiddos learned a lot, came home with some fun pictures, and have a new appreciation for drawing.

Mr. Stebbing had the Parents apparently draw too.

Beloved enjoyed the seminars and thought they were well organized.
He came home with the 3 year dvd art curriculum for me to teach one lesson a week!
I love the artwork - especially the beautiful sunflower!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Mr. Stebbing's art programs. I am pulling out his books again this year for the boys. I was in the art room for 5 hrs a day in my Sr. year of highschool and his program is sooooooo good!
ReplyDeleteMissed you and had to pop in.
Blessings and ((HUGS))

Oh how wonderful, art classes when done right are great. The Rod and Staff Publishing company has wonderful art packs too for each grade that I used and we really enjoyed those. The price was right and it was sweet and taught some wonderful art concepts.
ReplyDeleteMr. Stebbings course looks great, I remember him from the beginning of our homeschool journey. Neat man. : )
I love the pictures! I hope all is going well for you and your family. God bless.
