Homeschooling through American Girl History

"History will be kind to me for I intend to write it." - W. Churchill

One Saturday every month this year, the Little Lady has attended home school history classes for girls ages 9 through 12. The classes focused on doing history through the American Girl History book/movies.  In every class they watched the movie while eating their lunch. They also do art/crafts from that time period as well. (embroidery, sewing, garden planting, painting, cooking, etc)  All American Girls Dolls (and New Generation dolls) are highly encouraged to come along as a companion as well. It is one of the most popular home school stores classes. They never have less than 25 to 30 girls.  Typically, the home school store is closed on Saturdays but the owner keeps it opened for this class and so the Mom's of the girls attending the classes can stay at the shop, often hanging out looking at curriculum books and having tea just outside the classroom.
